At the heart of this epic, two young Dutch cyclists, Rick Keijzer and Sven Broekhuizen, defied the eloquence of kilometers to promote a human cause. Their determination pushed them to cycle through diverse landscapes, from the tulip fields of the Netherlands to the vibrant roads of Southeast Asia. They not only visited emblematic places, but also had the opportunity to delve into the cultural realities of each country crossed.

Beyond the adventure, Rick and Sven joined forces to support Coop Africa, a charitable organization that helps people in Kenya and of Uganda by providing them with bicycles. This altruistic gesture helped connect their passion for cycling to an essential social cause, illustrating the impact that a simple act can have on the lives of others.
A significant event in Ho Chi Minh City
Their trip culminated with participation in the event “ Cycling for the future » in Ho Chi Minh City, which attracted nearly 400 participants. This celebration not only highlighted cycling as a sustainable means of transport but also gave a new dimension to their adventure, bringing together cycling lovers around their mission.

Rick and Sven took this opportunity to encourage the residents of Ho Chi Minh City to adopt cycling as an environmentally friendly mode of transportation. Their message is clear: by choosing a low-impact mode of transport, everyone can contribute to reduce traffic jams, improve the air quality and strengthen the public health.
