A rich and diverse journey
Originally from Phnom Penh, Vinich Virak started his artistic career in 2017 with the film Viplas/Rachana, which won her the Best Actress award at the National Film Festival upon her return to Cambodia in 2018. Despite this success, she soon realized that opportunities for actors in Cambodia were very limited, which made her driven to look for ways to improve the training and the infrastructure of the cinematographic sector.
Strong of a degree in international studies obtained at the Royal University, she realized that the comedy and the drama are essential art forms, vital for the evolution of society. So, she did not hesitate to turn to academies with proven methods to perfect her skills.
Challenges for the Cambodian film industry
